Gorgeous Vintage Cowichan-Style Wool Sweater, Blue Trail Gun Range, Talon Zipper

Here we have a magnificent zip-front wool sweater with Cowichan-style gun-themed "Blue Trail Range" design on the back. This is apparently a reference to the Blue Trail shooting range, which still operates in Wallingford, Connecticut. There's no tagging, but the sweater is clearly 100% wool. Heavy-gauge stitching, appears to have been hand-made. The interior of the sweater, including the sleeves, is lined with white cotton flannel. The combination of the heavy wool sweater and the lining makes this a very warm garment. Sweater is in very good shape. A small amount of pilling and napping, as you'd expect for something this old. But no snags, pulls, rips, or stains. Zipper has two Talon pulls. Tiny bit of tarnishing and discoloration at bottom of right size of zipper (see photo), but this has no effect on the zipper's functionality, which is excellent. Sweater measures 20.25" from pit-to-pit and 24" from shoulder to hemline the equivalent of a generous Small or a snug Medium. Feel free to be in touch with any questions.
