Our rugged lad is outfitted in a hard to find, vintage Action Man Long Range Desert Group uniform, which was released between 1980-82 as a counterpoint to the popular Afrika Korps sets. A rare Desert Dual mini story book printed in Italy around 1978 is included with the lad, an exciting and entertaining read. Long Range Desert Group Lad. Vintage Action Man with professionally reflocked hair and beard, and aftermarket gripping hands has the correct Palitoy stamp on his lower back. His body is clean and intact with light play wear. His joints are nice and tight; he holds very comfortable pose.

No stress cracks on this lovely lad. Display this lad with pride.

Tan Short Sleeve Shirt in tropical weight fabric comes with buttons and snaps intact. Nylon tag reads Palitoy Action Man Made in Hong Kong. The shirt is super clean and brightly colored with minimal play wear. No fading, holes or stains noted. Aftermarket SAS chest insignia and sleeve chevrons are the main note (it was not unusual for the glue to dry causing the original decals to fall off). Matching Shorts in tropical weight fabric are also super clean and brightly colored with minimal play wear. Bandana style Scarf fashioned in brightly colored fabric is clean and intact with minimal wear. Knee length Socks are clean and brightly colored with light play wear. A few tiny snags, most notably around the seams, is the main note. Dark Green Anklets/Gators are intact and brightly colored with minimal play wear.

Short Black Lace up Boots stamped Hasbro® and numbered 3 & 4 are clean and intact with aftermarket laces. No splits or holes noted. Arab Headdress (Shemagh) is super clean and intact with no issues noted.

Light brown Egal Headband is brightly colored and intact with good elasticity. Tan Webbing is clean and intact with very light play wear. All tabs are present and intact. Typical light green staining where the shovel handle made contact with webbing, and a tiny hole in the left ammo pouch, are the main notes. Bayonet, Scabbard and E-tool are clean and intact with light play wear.

Correct green water bottle is clean with light play wear. Missing canteen stopper ring is hard to see but noted anyway. Is stamped Made in Hong Kong. It is clean and intact with minimal play wear. Desert Dual mini story book is clean and intact with brightly colored graphics.

No writing, stains or tears. Normal paper aging is the main note. The photos are of the actual 1:6 scale action figure offered in this listing.
